“It can start with a cup of coffee.”
When a person in need comes to the door of the Salvation Army New Hope Centre, they are met with compassion, an open hand, and a cup of coffee. We are honoured to make this initial connection, which can be the first step to a transformed life. We begin by addressing immediate needs (food, clothing, shelter), and then our Caseworkers help identify barriers and solutions. Over time, a healing process can transform lives and help individuals regain dignity as they journey to wellness and independence. We are grateful for the prayer and financial support that we receive to helps us deliver these important and potentially life-changing services.
