Come by to make a donation and ask for a tour to see what your donation does to help the people we serve! Tours can be arranged 7 days a week. Please call for details.
Items Needed
The Salvation Army attempts to provide as much support as possible to the many people who live on Nanaimo’s streets. Every day we respond to those in need by providing clothing and other emergency items. You can help us by providing any of the following new or freshly laundered items to the New Hope Centre at 19 Nicol Street:
1. Blankets/Sleeping bags
2. Socks/Shoes
3. Gloves/Scarves
4. Toques/Ball caps
5. Toiletries (soap, razors, toothpaste, etc.)
6. Backpacks/umbrellas
7. Packaged snacks (granola bars, etc.)
8. Coats/Rain gear
9. Bottled water
10. Shirts/Sweatshirts
